Bobotie (Toby's version)

Method

  1. Brown onions then combine meat.
  2. Add all the other ingredients except the chopped almonds and chutney.
  3. Spread meat into a greased (not too large) lasagne type dish
  4. Spread chutney over top plus chopped almonds
  5. Meanwhile beat two eggs with a cup of milk
  6. Pour this custard over the top of the meat dish and cook until custard is set (about 45mins at 180oC {350oF})
  7. Serve with yellow rice, green beans, cauliflower, peas.

Note Garlic can be added as required
